DPC CLEANING LTD
Planned cleaning rounds across Calderdale

Commercial cleaning worked like a rota,

RINSE

DPC CLEANING LTD keeps a store room at 166 King Cross Road, Halifax - HX1 3LN, United Kingdom (GB), and from that base we run scheduled cleaning rounds for offices, pubs, building sites and kitchens. Every visit is planned in advance, logged on the night and checked the following morning. See the six cleaning rounds we run →

Who we are

A cleaning company built around the round, not the one-off job

DPC CLEANING LTD is a commercial cleaning contractor working out of Halifax in West Yorkshire. We are not a domestic agency that occasionally takes an office. Our whole operation is arranged around repeat rounds, which means the same supervisor plans your visits, the same crew turns up on the same nights, and the same checklist is completed at the end of every shift. That structure is what allows a venue to stay presentable without anyone having to chase it.

The store room on King Cross Road holds our mops, machine heads, dilution jugs, colour coded cloths and the checklist boards for every live contract. Everything is loaded there before a round leaves and returned, counted and restocked when the round comes back. It sounds administrative because it is. Cleaning degrades quickly when supplies run short mid-shift, so we treat stock control as part of the service rather than an afterthought.

A typical week might hold office deep clean nights for two professional services firms, a pub refit washdown running through a closing week, an after-builders sweep following a shop handover, a carpet extraction day in a busy corridor and a kitchen degrease shift in a restaurant that fries continuously. The window and facade round is often appended to the same visit where the access equipment is already on site.

We serve offices, licensed premises, retail units, kitchens, gyms and construction handovers within Halifax and the surrounding towns. If you are in Sowerby Bridge, Brighouse, Elland, Todmorden or Hebden Bridge, you are comfortably inside our route. Larger sites further out are considered when the round can be paired sensibly with an existing contract. Read more about the individual rounds on the services page, or contact the office to arrange a site survey.

Our approach to pricing is deliberately plain. A survey establishes the area, the finish level and the access arrangements. From that we produce a fixed monthly figure for the round, with any additional one-off work quoted separately and in writing. You will not find surprise line items for consumables that were always going to be needed.

The six rounds

What a week of cleaning actually looks like

Each round below is a standing contract type rather than a menu item. Most clients hold one or two; a few licensed sites hold four. Every mention links to the full description so you can see exactly what is included before you ask for a price.

D

Office Deep Clean Nights

A four-night programme that works through the office building in sections so no team loses a desk for a full day. Desks are lifted, screens are dry wiped, chair bases and floor edges are detailed, and the communal kitchen is degreased as part of the same visit. Supervisors leave a written sheet at reception each morning.

Pub Refit Washdowns

Licensed premises that have been stripped back for a refit need the fabric of the building cleaned before the new fittings arrive. We wash ceilings, extractor housings, back bars, cellar steps and toilet blocks, then return for a second pass once the joiners have finished.

After-Builders Sweeps

Construction dust settles everywhere and it does not lift with a domestic vacuum. We sweep, Hepa vacuum and damp wipe in a set order from ceiling to floor so dust is never pushed back into a room that has already been signed off. A second sweep is scheduled a week after handover.

O

Carpet Extraction Days

Hot water extraction for the carpeted areas that see the most foot traffic: corridors, meeting rooms, stair nosings and reception. We pre-treat, agitate, extract and dry in the same day so the floor is back in use before the next morning.

K

Window and Facade Rounds

Internal glazing, frames, sills and the reachable facade are worked on a fixed rotation. Glass is degreased in kitchens and washed with filtered water elsewhere to avoid spotting. Routes, ladders and access equipment are risk assessed before the first pane is touched.

Kitchen Degrease Shifts

A closing shift for commercial kitchens that strips filters, hoods, canopies and splashbacks back to bare metal. Degreaser is diluted and logged per station, and the extraction canopy is cleaned from the inside out so grease never reaches a prepared surface.

DPC CLEANING LTD opens its winter deep clean window for Halifax premises, and rounds booked before the calendar turns are planned around the quiet weeks rather than into them.

How the work is planned

Three things every contract carries

A written specification

Before the first shift, the supervisor writes down what is cleaned, how often and to what standard. That document is shared with the client and revised when the site changes. It is the reference point for every later conversation about quality, which removes most of the guesswork from both sides.

The specification also records which products are approved for each surface. Heritage stone, sealed timber and anti-slip vinyl all fail in different ways when the wrong chemistry reaches them, so the list matters as much as the schedule.

A named supervisor

Every round has one supervisor who knows the building, holds the keys and signs off the checklist. If something is missed, there is a single person to call rather than a call centre. That person also handles the handover if a crew member changes, which keeps standards from drifting between teams.

Supervisors carry a phone during their shift and respond to messages about access, alarms and last-minute changes. For premises with out-of-hours working, we agree a contact protocol at the survey stage.

A stock and dilution log

Chemicals are diluted at the store room or on site using measured jugs, and the dilution is recorded against the room it was used in. This protects finishes, satisfies health and safety requirements and makes it easy to check whether a particular issue came from the product or the technique.

Coverage note. Rounds are scheduled within Halifax and the surrounding Calderdale towns. Sites outside that radius are quoted individually after a travel check. All enquiries are answered within one working day, and urgent after-builders sweeps are usually accommodated within seventy-two hours.

Why clients stay

Reliability is the product

Cleaning contracts are rarely lost because a floor was not shiny. They are lost because a crew arrived late, a key was forgotten, a bathroom ran out of paper at the wrong moment, or nobody answered the phone when something went wrong. DPC CLEANING LTD is organised against those failures specifically. Keys are logged in and out of the store room on King Cross Road. Consumables are counted at the end of each round. The supervisor is reachable during every shift.

That discipline has a practical benefit for growing businesses. When a company adds a floor or a second site, the round can be extended without rebuilding the whole arrangement. We can absorb a new kitchen, an extra meeting room or a separate unit into an existing schedule and adjust the specification accordingly. The same is true in reverse when premises shrink during a quiet period.

We also keep a short record of issues raised and how they were resolved. It is not a formal complaints system so much as a working log that the supervisor reviews before each round. If a particular stairwell keeps collecting grit, that note is what prompts a change to the method rather than a repeat of the same complaint.

If you would like to see how that would work for your building, the quickest route is to call +19899354007 or send a note to cleaning@dpccleaning.buzz. We will ask for the address, the approximate floor area and the hours your premises are empty, and then arrange a survey.
